34. A book with a person's name in the title J.R.R. Tolkien: Kullervon tarina
Esim. Kullervoa kutsuttiin yli puolenkymmenellä nimellä, jotka kuulostivat varsin intiaanihenkisiltä (Sakehonto, Sarihonto, Honto).

Naomi Alderman: Voima
Kirjassa on neljä päänäkökulmahahmoa.

Geeniteknologian avulla pystyttiin saamaan lapsia, joilla on erityislahjakkuuksia. Tässä keskitytään unen tarpeen manipulointiin. Näin muunnellut lapset eivät nuku. Unettomuus tuo muitakin positiivisia ominaisuuksia lapsiin. Pääosassa on uneton tyttö, jolla on normaali kaksossisar. Kirjassa käsitellään juopaa, mikä kehittyy unettomien ja nukkuvien välille yhteiskunnassa.
Luin kirjasta palkitun pienoisromaani version. 4+/5

Päätin kuitata tämän kummallisen neljän kirjan kokonaisuuden Suvi Kinosten uudelleen lukemisella. Something old liittyy siihen että kyseessä on yksi ehdoton lapsuudenajan suosikkini. No, hyvä yritys silti).

35. A psychological thriller - John Fowles: Neitoperho
