- East Rockportin lukiossa on valinnut vuosikausia sovinistimainen ilmapiiri. Pojat saavat mennä ja melskata kuinka tykkäävät ja heidän tekojaan tuetaan sekä sanallisesti, että rahallisesti. Vastaavasti tytöiltä odotetaan kilttiä, miltei "nyrkin ja hellan" -välistä käytöstä, heidän pukeutumiseensa puututaan eikä heidän ansioitaan huomioida. Place/thing: Risto Isomäen teokset yhdistän luontoon ja luonnon suojeluun. Rakastan luontoa.

Kirja käsittelee Isomäen tapaan ilmastonmuutosta. Kasvihuoneilmiön ympärille kirjailija on keksinyt mukiinmenevän ja kimurantinkin juonen, jossa mukana myös vieras äly. Tarinassa on totuutta ja valistusta ympäristö asioissa, mutta suuressa juonikuviossa tarina toki on epäuskottava. Fiktiivisen teoksen juonen epäuskottavuus ei häirinnyt lainkaan, mutta henkilöiden epäuskottava asema mm. maailmanpolitiikan keskushahmoina oli häiritsevä sekä muutenkin henkilöiden käyttäytyminen ei ollut luonnollista tietyissä tilanteissa. 3
