20. A book you picked because the title caught your attention Michelle Paver: Wakenhyrst

22. A book about or by a woman in STEM James Essinger: Adan algoritmi
Tämä kertoo matemaatikko Ada Lovelacesta, jota pidetään nykyään ensimmäisenä tietokoneohjelmoijana. Vähän jäi ärsyttämään, että alle 300-sivuisessa kirjassa nimihenkilö jää ihan sivurooliin. Alussa käydään laveasti läpi hänen isänsä lordi Byronin elämä, ja kun Ada teini-iässä kohtaa Charles Babbagen, siirtyy painopiste hänen vaiheittensa kertaamiseen.

34. A book you meant to read in 2019 Jo Nesbo: Macbeth
Ihan kelpo tarinaksi osoittautui kuitenkin.

The second cataclysm began in my eleventh life, in 1996. I was dying my usual death, slipping away in a warm morphine haze, which she interrupted like an ice cube down my spine.

6. A bildungsroman Robert Louis Stevenson: Aarresaari

30. A fiction or nonfiction book about a world leader - Roger Zelazny: Lord of Light
Fiktiivinen kirja ja useita johtajia. Joukko ihmisiä tekivät itsensä teknologian avulla kuolemattomiksi ja jumalan asemaan halliten maailmaa.
Kirja on fantasiamaista scifiä. Tällaista hyvin toteutettua genresekoitusta on ilo lukea. 4+
