12. A book recommended by someone you just met Elina Rouhiainen: Kesytön, Susiraja#1

10. A New York Times bestseller John Green: Kaikki viimeiset sanat

Runoteos Federico Garcia Lorca Runoelma cante jondosta. Runot harvoin tekevät minuun suurta vaikutusta, käännösrunot eivät juuri koskaan. Kokeilin myös kuunnella espanjaksi lausuttuna, ei silti. Nämä pitäisi laulaa, ovatkin eräänlaista lyriikkaa, mustalaismusiikin ylistystä.

20. A science-fiction novel Joanna Russ: Naisten planeetta
Vau. Kamalinta kuraa mitä olen lukenut pitkiin aikohin.

30. A book with a blue cover Patrick Ness: The rest of us just live here
Kerrassaan loistava pläjäys! The rest of us just live here kirjassa on erikoinen idea. Suosittelen ehdottomasti ainakin kaikille Buffyn tyylisuunnasta pitäville!

Dystopia Frank Herbert Children of Dune. Ehkei ihan klassisimmassa mielessä, muttei ihanneyhteiskuntaa kuvata.

Kirja, josta on tulossa elokuva tänä vuonna: Lewis Carroll Through the looking glass. En erityisemmin välittänyt Liisasta Ihmemaassa lapsenakaan enkä ole varma olenko lukenut Liisaa Peilimaassa. Sanaleikit tässäkin pelastavat paljon; virnistelen pitkään sellaisille kuin "But what could a tree do, if any danger came?" "It could bark."
