Lukuhaaste: Popsugar 2018

Joo, Tosi vaikeelta näyttää... vaatii aikatavalla funtsimista ainakin, ehkä oikomistakin. Sen sijaan Goodreadsin [url=https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/19585498-the-52-topics-for-the-2019-reading-challenge]ensivuoden lista[/url] näyttää aika helpolta. Moni kohta täyttynee ihan itsestään.

Joo, Goodreads näyttää paljon helpommalta. Mutta miten tulkitsette kohdat 23 - 26?   23. 4 books inspired by the wedding rhyme: Book #1 Something Old 24. 4 books inspired by the wedding rhyme: Book #2 Something New 25. 4 books inspired by the wedding rhyme: Book #3 Something Borrowed 26. 4 books inspired by the wedding rhyme: Book #4 Something Blue   Miten voi tietää inspiroiko juuri tuo värssy ja juuri tuo kohta kirjaa ellei sitä mainita suoraan kirjan nimessä? Jos luen vain "vanhan kirjan" eikö se vie pohjan koko haastekohdalta? Vai onko tämä vain tulkittavan niin, että kun tämä nyt vain sattuu olemaan hääruno ja kohdat menevät juuri vain simppelisti jotain vanhaa, jotain uutta jotain lainattua ja jotain sinistä teemalla. Mutta eikö siinä tapauksessa kohdat voisi vain simppelisti olla nimettynä edellämainitusti, ilman runoa (Lue vanha, uusi, lainattu, sininen kirja)?

Mä tulkitsin juurikin niin simppelisti, että uusi, vanha, lainattu ja sininen - eli haastavuus on melko mitätön. Huomasin, että tuolla GR ryhmässä on kohta, missä on ehdotettu [url=https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/19438037-making-the-2019-challenge-more-less-restrictive]tapaa tulkita[/url] jokaiseen haastekohtaan - KIS on simppeli tulkinta ja BIO vaihtoehto on haastavampi.

Hih, satuin hiljattain huomaamaan, että Nora Robertsilla on neliosainen sarja jonka kirjat on suomeksi nimetty tuon häälorun mukaan. Se olisi suht helppo ratkaisu jos diggaa Robertsia. Itse taidan kyllä koittaa keksiä jotain muuta. Tällä haavaa eniten päänraapimista aiheuttaa PS:n advanced-kohta [b]LitRPG-kirja[/b]. En edes tiennyt mitä sillä tarkoitettiin, joten tein vähän alustavaa tutkimusta. Löytämissäni listoissa ainoa tuttu teos oli [i]Ready player one[/i], joka on pahus vie jo luettu. Muut olivat ihan neverhöördejä. Toivottavasti jostain löytyisi vinkkiä johonkin lajin vähän tunnetumpaan teokseen, joka saattaisi löytyä kirjastostakin.   Muok. Problem solved, jei! GR:n keskustelupalstalla on keskustelua myös Popsugarin haasteesta ja löysin sieltä sopivan LitRPG-kirjan (Marie Lun [i]Warcraft[/i], jos kiinnostaa).

Ihan mielenkiintoisia tarinoita ja ajatuksia herättävää tekstiä siitä kuinka Suomessa suhtaudutaan mielenterveyteen ja sen hoitoon. Nämä henkilöt ovat saaneet apua, mutta surullisen paljon teksteistä tulee esille se, kuinka esim. Huviretki on Orasen Maan aamu kirjan itsenäinen jatko-osa, se alkaa vuodesta 1918 ja jatkaa edellisessä kirjassa tutuksi tulleen Hepojärven kartanon elämän kuvailemista. Kirja, josta tehdyn elokuvan olen jo nähnyt: James Dashner Scorch trials. Luin Maze runnerin, katsoin elokuvat ja palasin kirjoihin heti perään.   Kirjassa on ryöstö: Mikki ja viidakon vaarat.   Oikeaan henkilöön perustuva: Knut Hamsun Svält. Perustuu vahvasti kirjailija omaan elämään.   Sijoittuu minua kiehtovaan maahan: Selma Lagerlöf Jerusalem. Kiintoisaa seutua ilman muuta. Kirjoitettu ennen Israelin perustamista.   Kirjailija on eri etnistä alkuperää kuin minä: Zane Grey Erämaan kultaa. Amerikkalainen, jonka suku oli englantilaisia kveekareita.   Otsikossa sääelementti: Andre Brink Rumours of rain.   Merille sijoittuva kirja: Clive & Dirk Cussler Musta tuuli.   Toisessa kirjassa mainittu kirja: George Orwell 1984.
