Advanced 2. A cyberpunk book - Simon Ings: Kuumalinja

28. A book with song lyrics in the title – Lauren Graham: Someday, Someday, Maybe
Minun oli tarkoitus lukea tähän Murakamin Norwegian Wood (kiitos vinkistä Pisania!) mutta en ehtinyt. Työmatkojen luurikirjaksi napattu Someday, Someday, Maybe alkoi mielessäni kuulostaa epäilyttävästi biisin nimeltä ja googlaamalla tärppäsi: se on kappale albumilta The World Is Your Oyster by Dragonfly Collector, san. ja säv. Clementine. Norwegian wood pysyy TBR-listalla.

9. A book about a villain or antihero Kurt Vonnegut: Äiti yö
Kirjan päähenkilö, Howard Campbell, on varsin ristiriitainen hahmo. Sodan jälkeen hänen onnistuu elää hiljaiseloa New Yorkissa kunnes hänen olemassaolonsa paljastuu. Toisille hän on suuri sankari, toisille taas itse paholainen. Ei hän taida itsekään oikein tietää kumpi. Tarina on kerrottu käsikirjoituksen muodossa, jonka hän kirjoitti israelilaisessa vankilassa odottaessaan sotarikosoikeudenkäyntiään.

Kirjan päähenkilö, Howard Campbell, on varsin ristiriitainen hahmo. Sodan jälkeen hänen onnistuu elää hiljaiseloa New Yorkissa kunnes hänen olemassaolonsa paljastuu. Toisille hän on suuri sankari, toisille taas itse paholainen. Ei hän taida itsekään oikein tietää kumpi. Tarina on kerrottu käsikirjoituksen muodossa, jonka hän kirjoitti israelilaisessa vankilassa odottaessaan sotarikosoikeudenkäyntiään.

Adv. 4. A book tied to your ancestry - Johanna Holmström: Sielujen saari
Hyvin vaikea kohta. 4/5

2. True Crime - Brandilyn Collins: Gone to Ground
Murha, tuo rikoksista vakavin. Pidin, 4/5.
