26. A book with an animal in the title - Jari Järvelä: Tyttö ja rotta
Melkoisen vakavia rikoksia on Metrolla kontollaan, eikä näytä omatunto edes kolkuttelevan. Vastakkainasetelmassa vartijat-töhrijät on vaikea pitää sympatioita töhrijöiden puolella, vaikka vartijat esitetään suorastaan sadisteina.

44. A book tied to your ancestry Juha Hurme: Niemi

15. A book about feminism Sara Medberg: Kultaportin kaunottaret
- 19 vuotias paronintytär Adele ihailee Jane Austenia, haluaa opiskella ja tulla kirjailijaksi. Uudenaikaiset puheet kuohuttavat seurapiirejä, joissa naisen osaan kuuluu näkyä, muttei kuulua. Adelen uudismieliset ajatukset alkavat tarttua myös hänen ystävättäriinsä tulevaa tanssiaiskautta odotellessa. Adelen päättäväisyys kasvaa hänen saadessaan kuulla, että Maria Tschetschulin sai erityisluvalla suorittaa varsinaisen ylioppilastutkinnon ensimmäisenä naisena. Adelen ja hänen ystäviensä tarina on romanttinen kertomus naisen aseman muuttumisesta rikkaisiin naimisiin pyrkivästä (teennäisestä) typeryksestä ajattelevaksi, työtätekeväksi naiseksi, jota ajatuksena niin kovasti paheksuttiin vielä 1870-luvulla.

- 19 vuotias paronintytär Adele ihailee Jane Austenia, haluaa opiskella ja tulla kirjailijaksi. Uudenaikaiset puheet kuohuttavat seurapiirejä, joissa naisen osaan kuuluu näkyä, muttei kuulua. Adelen uudismieliset ajatukset alkavat tarttua myös hänen ystävättäriinsä tulevaa tanssiaiskautta odotellessa. Adelen päättäväisyys kasvaa hänen saadessaan kuulla, että Maria Tschetschulin sai erityisluvalla suorittaa varsinaisen ylioppilastutkinnon ensimmäisenä naisena. Adelen ja hänen ystäviensä tarina on romanttinen kertomus naisen aseman muuttumisesta rikkaisiin naimisiin pyrkivästä (teennäisestä) typeryksestä ajattelevaksi, työtätekeväksi naiseksi, jota ajatuksena niin kovasti paheksuttiin vielä 1870-luvulla.

11. A book with a female author who uses a male pseudonym - Robert Galbraith: Pahan polku

Kirja kuolemasta JA surusta. Etelä-Koreassa opiskelijoiden mielenosoitus johti kidutukseen ja kuolemaan 1980-luvulla. 3. The next book in a series you started Boris Akunin: Valtioneuvos

Adv. 8. A microhistory - Erik Larson: The Devil in the White City
Tositarina 1800-luvun lopun muutamasta vuodesta Chicagossa. Ihan lukemisen arvoinen.

22. A book with alliteration in the title – M.L.

36. A book set in the decade you were born - Neil Gaiman: The Ocean at the End of the Lane
Voihan valinnan vaikeus. Kirja olisi käynyt myös kahteen muuhun itselleni vaikeaan kohtaan.
Tapahtumat sijoittuvat, tarinassa olevien viitteiden perusteella, 60-luvun jälkimmäiselle puoliskolle - sanoisin, että vuoteen 1967, jolloin Neil itse oli päähenkilön tavoin 7-vuotias.
