39. A book with a form of punctuation in the title Jeanette Winterson : Why be happy when you could be normal?
Erinomainen teos.

5. A book about or inspired by real events - Sue Monk Kidd: The Invention of Wings
He olivat aikansa kuuluisimpia feministejä ja orjuuden vastustajia. He kiersivät maata pitämässä puheita ja kirjoittivat radikaaleja pamfletteja aikana, jolloin naisen paikka oli kotona, aikana, jolloin naisen tuli totella miestään ja pysyä hiljaa, eikä varsinkaan sopinut osallistua politiikkaan tai yhteiskunnallisiin asioihin.

36. A book published in the last 3 years by an author you haven't read before - Mira Ahjoniemi: Loistava järjestys

Kirjalle on suuret odotukset: George Martin A Feast for crows.

26. A book with a text only cover - Stephen King: The Lawnmower Man: Stories from Night Shift

31. A book set in a country you'd like to visit but have never been to: A Room with a View (E.M. Forster)

He ovat Reinissä asuvia vesinymfejä/seireeneitä ja he pystyvät esim. liikkumaan maasta toiseen vesistöjen sisällä. Myös sade on tarinassa merkittävässä roolissa.

Kirjan päähenkilö, Howard Campbell, on varsin ristiriitainen hahmo. Sodan jälkeen hänen onnistuu elää hiljaiseloa New Yorkissa kunnes hänen olemassaolonsa paljastuu. Toisille hän on suuri sankari, toisille taas itse paholainen. Ei hän taida itsekään oikein tietää kumpi. Tarina on kerrottu käsikirjoituksen muodossa, jonka hän kirjoitti israelilaisessa vankilassa odottaessaan sotarikosoikeudenkäyntiään.

HourglassEyes22. A book you have high expectations or hope for William Gibson: NeurovelhoMukava kuulla, Neurovelho on nimittäin minunkin lukulistalla.
Odotukset olivat korkealla.

2. A book from the first 10 books added to your TBR list Lawrence M. Krauss: Universumi tyhjyydestä
